About Us

We bring a lot of teaching experience to the school. We have taught English to people from more than 50 countries at schools and universities in the UK and abroad. We have experience of teaching students at every level and standard of English from beginner to proficiency. We know how to help you, whether you have just started learning the language, or have been learning English for some time. If you want to take an exam to gain a qualification we'll arrange this for you. You'll be able to practise papers from previous years, so you know exactly what the exam will be like.

John, the Director of Studies, was educated at Durham University and the London School of Economics where he qualified with a Master of Science degree. He worked in local government and then for two multinational companies where he was responsible for finding, training and developing people at every level of the organisation. He gained the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults, (CELTA), at International House in Piccadilly and taught at schools in the London area before teaching English at two universities in France.

Tim, who also qualified as an English teacher at International House, has had many years experience of arranging and organising events so that people can learn new skills, meet other people and have fun! We wanted to open a school near a London Underground station in a lovely part of London so that our students would find it easy to get to, and enjoy being in the area. The school is in Fulham, very close to the River Thames, and only 50 metres from Putney Bridge tube station, (which is on the district line), and the bus station. There are cafes and shops next to the school, and the restaurants, bars and shopping centres of Putney and Fulham are less than 10 minutes walk from where we are.

The main classroom is on the ground floor of the building. It is a large room which has recently been renovated, and is furnished with brand new tables and conference style chairs, for the comfort of our students.
